I'm a Colombian film director and producer with a sharp eye for gender, memory, and society. I'm the founder and managing director of URUA FILMS, a Berlin-based production house and creative platform for knowledge exchange. I also lead INTO THE WILD, a mentorship program for women filmmakers in Germany, for which I was awarded the Robert Geisendörfer Prize. My work has premiered at the Málaga Film Festival, Ji.hlava, BAFICI, Achtung Berlin, Carthage Film Festival, and Shanghai International Film Festival, among others. I also work across Europe and Latin America as a trainer, consultant, and juror for film labs, funds and institutions
